About Us – Olivea Home
Rooted in the Mediterranean – where the sun writes stories into the wood.
Where tradition meets Swiss quality.
My roots lie in Tunisia – and with them, a childhood I will never forget. The warm Mediterranean sun, the scent of the earth, the stillness among ancient olive trees. At my grandparents’ home, I learned what it means to live in harmony with nature. Tradition, culture and craftsmanship weren’t concepts – they were everyday life.
Olive trees have enchanted me from the very beginning. They grow slowly, patiently, deeply rooted – as if they know that the most beautiful things take time. Every grain, every line in the wood is a chapter in their story: shaped by the Mediterranean sun, moved by the wind, cared for by human hands.
This wood is sustainable because it comes from nature. It is durable because it is crafted with respect. And it is beautiful – in a quiet, timeless way that you can feel when you hold it in your hands.
Olivea Home is my way of bringing a little of this warmth, this light and this craftsmanship to you.
The wood that tells a second story.
Olive trees grow slowly – sometimes for centuries. They provide shade on hot summer days, bear fruit that feeds families, and are deeply woven into the Mediterranean soul. When one day a tree stops bearing fruit, its journey does not end. It transforms.
Its wood – marked by grain shaped by light and time – begins a new life. In the hands of skilled artisans, it becomes something lasting: cutting boards, spoons, trays, bowls, baskets. Each piece carries the soul of the tree within it. Every grain is unique – like nature’s fingerprint.
No two pieces are alike. And that is exactly what makes each one special.
More than an object – a choice.
When you choose a piece from Olivea Home, you are consciously choosing against throwaway culture and in favor of something that lasts. Olive wood is naturally sustainable – no tree is felled. It is a material that comes from the natural cycle and is crafted with respect.
Our products are made for people who value quality over quantity. Who appreciate genuine materials, recognize honest craftsmanship and want to own things that grow more beautiful over time – not less.
A piece from Olivea Home isn’t a purchase. It’s a small, conscious choice for nature, craftsmanship and timelessness.
